Day 30-a picture

It's the last day already?  Now what am I going to blog about? lol Oh well, here's my picture:

 

The first time I held my daughter.  I love this picture because that's a moment you can never get back...and just look at those cheeks!  Not mine, Mackenzie's :-p

'Tis the Season...already?

Where on earth has the time gone?  I can't believe it's almost December already!  Got most of our Christmas decorations up, just need to get a few more things.

And we got Kenzie's Christmas dress. Isn't it adorable?!?!

I can't wait for her to wear it :-)  We have most of our shopping done, too, just need a few more things more Kenz then we'll be all done.  Hopefully she'll like what we got her.  She doesn't play with many of her toys now which makes it all the harder to buy her things.  Crazy kid :-p

Made my Christmas cards yesterday.  I'm on the ball this year lol.  I used this picture: 

We took a lot more but this was the only one Kenzie was smiling in.  I had to bounce her to get her to smile. She's starting to hate having her picture taken.  Will that stop me?  No.

Day 29-3 Wishes

1. Good health for all my loved ones and myself.  And for everyone else :-)

2.  Reach my goal weight by next Christmas.

3.  Give Kenzie a sibling within the next 2 years.

Day 28-Something that stresses you out

I'm not one to get stressed out easily, I really hardly ever sweat the small stuff.  I guess the only things would be money, as I'm sure that stresses everyone most out and my weight...which is the biggest stress.  I'll be, or should be, starting to blog about my weight loss journey...starting today.  That'll be fun interesting :-p

Day 27: Pets

 Meet our kids pets, Rosko & Laci

We adopted Rosko from PetSmart in Elyria, OH on October 18, 2005 when he was 3 months old.  He and I didn't hit it off very well, I was ready to send him back to PetSmart after about a week of him attacking me and hiding behind the couch.  It didn't take him long to warm up to me and we became great buds.  I call him my bubby.  He loves to cuddle with me and if he wants attention...or treats he isn't shy about letting you know.

After a few months with Rosko we decided he needed a little playmate.  On February 13, 2006 we adopted 1 year old Laci.  She was found outside with a litter of kittens, all of whom were adopted before she was.  She and Rosko hated eachother at first but then they began to play and such.  She's her own person cat who likes to keep to herself, only coming downstairs to eat and get some love from Kenzie or whoever else will pet her.

 I love these cats like they're my own children and I thank God everyday for bringing them into our lives<3

Day 24-Something you've learned

I have learned so many valuable things over the years, but the most important was what I learned when Mackenzie was born...PATIENCE.  I seriously had none, but when you have a baby you have to develop it.  While I was pregnant with her I was so afraid of how I would handle the crying and the not sleeping, but surprisingly enough I handled it all very well.  Okay, the constantly crying got to me in the beginning.  I felt like she hated me!  But now, as I sit here and she's smacking my arm and grabbing the mouse, I am calm, cool and collected lol
To quote Guns 'N Roses, "All we need is just a little patience."

Day 23-Favorite vacation

This is going to be a repeat post because my favorite vacation was to Colorado. It was the first time Steve and I went on a trip together, and his first time flying.  It was also the first time I got to meet my half brother and sister.  We had so much fun and the scenery was gorgeous!  My brother took us sight seeing up in the mountains which was amazing. I would LOVE to go back!

Day 22-What's in your makeup bag

I have so much makeup in my bag, half of which I don't even use.  Let's see what we have here:

Day 19 - Something You Miss

There are actually quite a few things I miss.

* Living in Wellington.  It was such a nice, small, quiet, conservative town. I loved it there, but we had to move back to my hometown for jobs.

* My old place of work.  I loved everyone (well almost everyone) there and even though it was 3rd shift we always had a great time.

* Seeing friends on a regular basis.  Now I really don't see anyone outside my family unless I go to Wal-Mart, Kroger, or run into a couple classmates in Mansfield.

* Being pregnant.  That was honestly the happiest time in my life!  I absolutely loved being pregnant.  Of course, I didn't have any morning sickness :-p  And I love love love having Kenzie here with me now, I just can't wait to be able to give her a sibling :-)

Day 18 - Something you regret

I definitely regret being the person I was in high school.  I portrayed myself as an uber-nerd and was a total backstabber to my friends.  I was way too quiet and never stood up for myself.  I definitely wasn't the person I wanted to be, that's for sure.  I always wanted to be involved and hang out with the "in" crowd.  Who doesn't, though?  I wish I would've taken more time for myself rather than trying to please others.  I also regret letting myself get as big as I am.  I NEVER imagined me being this weight, but I met my husband and got too comfortable with him.  I'm one of those people who need a push to get me going, otherwise I just dream of doing something, but never do it.  Hopefully I can get started on some major weight loss so I'm not regretting not being able to be the mother and wife I should be.

Day 17 - Something You're Looking Forward To

I'm definitely looking forward to Christmas!  I'm dying to decorate already, and I think I'm going to give in and do it this weekend.  I'm so excited to see Kenzie open her gifts!  Last year she was just shy of 6 months old and teething horribly so she really didn't get into it. She actually slept most of the day so it'll be interesting to see how different she reacts this year.  I also can't wait to take her Christmas light looking, which has been a tradition in my family for as long as I can remember :-)  Hopefully she's moved by all the decorations because last year she couldn't care less lol.

Day 16 - Dream House

I'm a girl who enjoys the simple things in life.  I don't need the biggest and the best of everything to make me happy...but I would LOVE to live in this house lol

Day 15 - Bible Verse

1 Corinthians 13:1-8a and 13

Day 14 - A Picture You Love

My mom took this picture yesterday of my dad & Mackenzie.  I fell in love instantly!  You can just tell how much my dad loves Kenz<3  Awww!

Day 13 - Goals

I have so many goals, which I never try to accomplish lol.  Ugh, hopefully I can turn over a new leaf and reach some of these goals within the next year. 

* LOSE WEIGHT!

* Give Kenzie a sibling :-)

* Go back to school.

* Make new friends.

* Get out more.

* Be a better wife & mother.

Day 12 - What You Believe

I believe He is there and He means well.

I believe love is the greatest gift there is.

I believe I am truly blessed :-)

I believe the greatest shortage in the world is common sense.

I believe in giving everyone a chance, sometimes maybe 2.

I believe everyone has a little devil in them.

I believe in respecting those who respect you.

I believe in keeping to myself and staying out of others' business.

I believe I am right...all of the time.  Okay, most of the time lol
I also believe I should have my own radio show...a la Peter Griffin "What Really Grinds My Gears".  It would be magical.
