Steve and I met in August of 2004, he was 20 & I was 19, and quickly became a couple and best friends :-) We had a long distance relationship (60 miles apart) for 1 year. Then in November of 2005 we got our first apartment together. That was such a fun time. Learning different things about eachother and just having a blast! In December he proposed and on August 4, 2006 we became husband and wife :-)
We decided not to try for a family, but not prevent it from happening. Well, nothing happened. I was starting to get worried, thinking there was something wrong with me. Well in early October 2008 I decided to start trying...and 2 weeks later I found out I was pregnant! On June 29, 2009, I gave birth (via c-section) to a beautiful 9 lb 5.1 oz baby girl...who we named Mackenzie.
She is just the light of my life. She makes me laugh more than anyone and gives me something to look forward to (and sometimes dread) everyday lol. I'm a stay at home mom so Mackenzie and I spend A LOT of time together. Sometimes she drives me nuts with her crazy screaming hissy fits, but her cute little face and those chubby little cheeks make my heart melt.
