Ultra-safe and-Sound

Yesterday I FINALLY got the ultrasound we had been waiting for.  Turns out, I was right on the money on the due date...October 10, 2011!  But, due to repeat c-section, our little bean will be here Sept. 27th or 28th :-)
Here's what he/she looks like now:

Heartbeat was 148 and everything looks a-okay!  Now,  fetus bean is okay, but mama is not.  My nausea's been through the roof!  24/7...never a break.  Started about a week ago and hasn't let up.  I haven't thrown up, yet, but I kinda wish I would instead of just feeling like I'm going to all the live long day.  With Mackenzie, it was the "perfect" pregnancy.  I only had slight nausea at night for a couple weeks in the beginning, no big deal, and the usual wanting to sleep all the time, but that was nothing compared to how I feel with this one.  It's really kickin' my butt, that's for sure. Well, I'm heading off of here. Hope you're all doing well :-)

Quite Possibly TMI

Reader discretion is advised.  So, while I was pregnant with Mackenzie I had NO morning sickness.  Just a wee bit nausea at night for the first couple weeks, but that was it.  Well, this pregnancy is a whole new ball game.  I'm not throwing up and I'm not feeling too nauseous.  I'm just stuck on the toilet ALL day and ALL night.  I think you know what I mean.  This has been going on for over a week now so it has to be the pregnancy.  Has anyone else dealt with this symptom?  I can't think of anything I ate that would cause it...especially to go on this long.  I'm eating much healthier this time than last.  It's an extreme annoyance, but I think I prefer it over the throwing up.
If you've experienced this, or know someone who has, please give me advice on how to control it lol  Thank you much :-)

The Skinny

Odd title since I'm pregnant, right?  Well, I'm going to keep on with my "diet" and such.  I never lost the weight I gained with Mackenzie so I CAN'T gain weight with this pregnancy.  So yesterday when I posted the news, I was too antsy to think of what to write so you missed all the details of how we found out & reacted.  Well because of my weight (due to an unnatrual love of fast food) I had been having problems menstrating.  I only had 4 periods in 2010 and 1 of those was brought on by a pill prescribed by my OB/GYN.  Instead of going on that horrible pill again I decided to see if losing weight would help.  After a few weeks and 14 pounds lost I started feeling pretty blah.  I bought an ovulation test kit just to see and the first test I took came back positive.  I couldn't believe it.  I took another one the next day...positive.  Well, I got a positive result all week!  That's not normal so I looked up what would cause that.  2 things came  up: pregnangy and a cyst.  I figured it was probably a cyst because of all my problems.  A week later I decided to take a pregnancy test just to see and it came back negative.  Now I was sure it was a cyst.  I prepared to make a doctor's appt to get everything checked out.  A week later (Thursday, Jan. 27th) I took another pregnancy test so I would be 100% positive I was not pregnant before I went to the Dr.  Well...this is the test I took:

Yep, definitely didn't expect that to show up lol.  I was shaking so bad when I read that.  I was excited, yet nervous.  Kenzie is such a hand full all by herself, am I going to be able to handle 2 kids?  I think we all ask ourselves those questions.  I am very excited, though :-)  So I had my first Dr's appt yesterday and they confirmed it.  We have no clue when my due date is, though, but I'm guessing I'm about 5 weeks along which would put me due the beginning of October.  Steve's birthday is October 4th and my sister's is the 2nd.  Maybe we can shoot for the 3rd? LOL.
Well, that's how it all went down.  Crazy, huh?  I mean, what were the chances of  me getting a positive on my ovulation test the first try and then getting pregnant?  After not having a period for months?  It must be fate :-)  I'll definitely keep you all updated on this exciting time in our lives!

How far along? Not sure but I'm guessing 5 weeks.

Total weight gain/loss: Lost 3 lbs since finding out.

Maternity clothes? Not yet, although I'm about to break out the jeans because they're so comfy.

Sleep: Pretty much none. Insomnia has made an unwelcome visit and doesn't look like it's leaving soon :-(

Best moment this week: Telling my family the news.

Food cravings: No appetite.

Gender: No clue.

What I am looking forward to: The birth of my first nephew in March, warm weather, going on adventures this summer, and of course the birth of my little bean lol

What I miss: Warm weather.

Words Of Wisdom: Don't let your child/children sleep in your bed.

Milestones: Pregnancy confirmed!

Well...

Did you read her shirt?  That's right, folks, Baby Cazzell #2 is on his/her way!!!  So excited...and nervous!  That's really all I have to say now because  I don't know when my due date is and I already have crazy heartburn.  Well, I had heartburn anyway :-p  Will post more when I know more :-)
